Once Upon a Something is about four performers. There are heroes, villains, victims and there is fairy dust. Playful dance, fascinating storytelling, precise comic timing and even some Hollywood acting are used in an attempt to challenge traditional ways of ‘telling a story’. The performers find their roles amongst the debris of imagination in a performance characterised by spectacle, failure and voyeurism. Witty, exciting, and at times surprising, Once Upon a Something is the ultimate exploration of performer ego, illustrating exactly how far performers are willing to go for their moment on the stage...
